Patricia Rust is a frequent speaker about scripting your own life and is a popular guest with the media and a teacher of writing workshops. She began her career with her own talk show on PBS and hosted some magazine shows before she sold her first screenplay to Warner Bros. and moved behind the camera where she went on to write for dramatic television, situation comedies, and network specials. She wrote on Emmy-award-winning shows where she thrived and even wrote pilots which are considered the hallmark of success in television.

Since age two, Patricia has also enjoyed a modeling career from which she has never been able to retire. She is best known as a former Ivory Soap girl and still does beauty shots and is a hand and lifestyle model which she ties in with some of her travel writing. She is currently on tour to Spain, France, and Scotland and speaks the language of each of these countries. “I love language because it is a great doorway to the people and their culture. It was at UCLA while still a student and modeling that she interviewed Arnold Schwarznegger and began a lifelong friendship with him and many others including the current mayor of Los Angeles. And she’s been writing ever since.

Hawaii beckons… What better place would there be to celebrate ones’ love than a place surrounded by beauty? Yes, Hawaii is not one of the world’s favorite honeymoon destinations for nothing. Its natural splendor is seen in its towering volcanoes, waterfalls, gardens and forests, majestic canyons, pristine beaches and relaxing atmosphere.

Situated just near the center of the Pacific Ocean’s northern region, it stands as the 50th state of the USA. When once it flourished because of its pineapple, whaling and sugar industries, nowadays it is more known for providing one of the best vacations for those looking for relaxation, adventure or a chance to commune with nature – or all of these three.

Hawaii is made up of a group of some nineteen volcanic islands, the six main ones are: Maui, Lanai, Big Island, Oahu, Kauai, and Molokai. These all sit at a geological hot spot in the Pacific Ocean.

Now, when you get to Hawaii, here are some of the things you should go and see, apart from the perfect beaches, of course.

Volcanoes dot these islands, so be sure to visit at least one. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on big island boasts of fiery Kilauea, where you can get up close and personal to a real, “breathing” volcano. You can also visit Haleakala National Park in Maui and Diamond Head in Oahu. The volcanoes are also responsible for the gorgeous spot that is Waimea Canyon in Kauai, which is reminiscent of the Grand Canyon in the United States. It is made up of lava beds that turn the valley into different shades of red.

Another not-to-be-missed attraction would be Hawaii’s collection of waterfalls. The rushing waters and the pools they produce make for a perfect romantic hideaway.

You can head for the Seven Sacred Pools (as Oheo Gulch is known), to the Akaka Falls, with its jaw-dropping 442 foot drop or to Peaekaa Falls.

Of course, Hawaii is also known for its spectacular underwater world. Hawaii boasts of nine underwater parks. These can be found at Kealakekua Bay 9Big Island), Manele and Hulopoe Bay (in Lanai), Hanauma Bay and Waikiki Beach on Oahu.
